Professional Background
I am currently working as an IT project manager in the Housing sector. I am a veteran of over 24 years service in the Royal Military Police and have been employed as a Delivery/Project/Programme/Transformation Manager in the ten years plus since I left HM Forces. I have also had the opportunity to work as a Senior Product Manager in a Government department. I am very keen on change management and the process of putting both simple and complex business into business teams. In my current role I have delivered Microsoft's Dynamics 365 and Digital Contact Centre Platform (DCCP) into customer facing teams. I like to keep up to date with the latest trends across project delivery and management and am a member of two professional bodies; The Association of Project Management (APM) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI). As well as being a Registered Chartered Manager (CMgr), I have applied to become a Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) believing that you are never too old to learn. In among work and a busy home life, I am currently studying the Management of Risks 4 (MoR 4) and in my spare time watch Ipswich Town and can be found on my allotment with my long suffering wife!
