Professional Background
Claire Agutter is interested in anything that helps IT work better. With more than two decades of experience as a service management consultant, trainer, speaker and author, she is the founder of Scopism, which focuses on publications, events and consultancy linked to Service Integration and Management (SIAM). She recruited and led the team of volunteers that created the SIAM Body of Knowledge and created the online SIAM community. Awards: Every year since 2018, Claire has been nominated by Computer Weekly as one of the most influential women in UK tech and in 2024 was one of the HDI Top 25 Thought Leaders, as well as being shortlisted for Computing's Women in Tech Excellence Founder/Entrepreneur award. In 2025, she was awarded the itSMF UK Paul Rappaport award for her lifetime contribution to IT service management.
