Professional Background
Ed specialises in data protection and IT contracts law, with over 20 years experience across a range of industries, including significant experience from senior in-house leadership positions with global companies. Ed's career started with Dentons in London, where he worked mainly on telecoms regulatory and IT outsourcing matters, including for a period seconded to a telecoms company in Dubai. Subsequently Ed was employed as an in-house lawyer by Clarks Shoes and Computershare where he advised on all legal matters including governance and company secretarial issues, M&A transactions, employment and pensions law issues, complex disputes, franchising and other trading arrangements, competition and anti-trust law matters, and real estate arrangements. Ed became a Partner in TLT's Bristol office in 2021, and now focuses on data protection, cybersecurity, and IT law.
