Professional Background
Ellen Sayles is a Graduate Data Analyst for Evri Group having joined the business in September 2025 after completing a Master's degree in Data Science and Bachelors in Mathematics at Lancaster University. Ellen has developed a wide range of knowledge and practical experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Visualisation. These disciplines of data have allowed her to build different technical skills in Python, SQL, VBA and DAX while also increasing her ability to communicate insights in a clear and accessible way. Prior to joining Evri, Ellen completed a year's placement with GSK working within procurement. Even though this was not a Data-focused role, this experience provided valuable foundations in business operations, finance, stakeholder management and presenting. Looking forward, Ellen is keen to strengthen her practical experience in Data Science while also increasing her leadership and management skills. She is passionate about helping businesses make data-driven decisions that create meaningful and tangible outcomes.
