Professional Background
Mark East is the UK and Australia Early Careers Manager at CGI, where he leads the end-to-end strategy, recruitment, and delivery of one of the organisation's most established and award-winning Early Careers programmes. With over a decade of experience in recruitment and early talent development, Mark plays a central role in shaping CGI's future workforce and ensuring a strong, diverse pipeline of early-career professionals. In his current role, Mark oversees the annual recruitment of between 100 and 300 graduates, apprentices, industrial placement students, and trainees across the UK. His responsibilities extend beyond attraction and selection to the ongoing management and evolution of the Early Careers programme, working closely with learning and development, reward, employee benefits, and operational leadership teams to deliver a high-quality, inclusive experience for early talent.
