Professional Background
Hi, I am Zuhair, a Computer Science student at Manchester Metropolitan University, currently on my placement year at Amazon London working as a Business Intelligence Engineer. In my role, I get to dive into data, build insights, and explore new ways to make workflows more efficient. I have been interested in AI for a few years now. My first experience with it was using AI tools to write emails for my mom, who wasn't a fan of doing them herself. Since then, I have been fascinated by how AI can make work faster and more creative. One of my favourite tools right now is KIRO, Amazon's recently launched AI coding environment, which I have really enjoyed experimenting with. Outside of AI, I love working on hardware projects. I recently got a Raspberry Pi and have been exploring robotics and other hands on programming challenges. I have also been a big fan of C and C++ programming languages since the beginning.
