    About University of Salford

The University of Salford teaches Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cyber Security and Digital and Software Technology from its new £65 million, 100% electric-powered hub for science, engineering and the environment, opened in Autumn 2022. Degrees are BCS-accredited and built around real industry challenges — second-year computer science students take part in Hackcamp, a three-week industry challenge building a web-hosted dashboard or application to a live brief. Salford is a co-founding member of both the Greater Manchester Cyber Foundry and Greater Manchester AI Foundry, initiatives supporting the city region's ambition to become a digital leader, and graduates have gone on to organisations including Airbus, IBM and Bang & Olufsen. Over 90% of Salford students find employment or further study within a year of graduating.

Through Tech Industry Gold accredited programmes, University of Salford provides learners with industry-relevant knowledge, practical experience, and strong career outcomes.
