The TechSkills Employer Action Group working on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is considering how better results can be achieved from investments in training, learning and development throughout employees’ careers.

The work includes better understanding matters such as:

· The correlation between learning investment and measurable business outcomes

· How to ensure the successful application of new skills learned into the work environment

· The maturity of CPD arrangements across different types of organisation

· Learning from other countries recognised for leading edge CPD practices

· What changes in training culture would be valuable in the UK
