    New Tech Industry Gold accreditation specialists announced

    Three leaders in technology and education have joined our network of Tech Industry Gold accreditation specialists.

    These experts, chosen for their deep expertise and backgrounds across both education and industry, play a key role in creating the diverse pipeline of tech talent the UK needs. Our accreditation specialists work with employers to articulate their skills needs as accreditation criteria which educators can understand, and help educators develop programmes which meet these vital industry requirements.

    We are delighted to welcome Hajre Hyseni, Robin Oldham and Vito Veneziano to the team.

    Mr Hajre Hyseniis Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer in Digital Media, eBusiness, Mobile Business, e-Commerce, Global e-Business, AI and Machine Learning at the University of Hertfordshire.

    Hajre explains: “I'm excited to bring a fresh perspective to the table, driving the future of higher education. By ensuring educational programs align with industry standards, I aim to enhance graduates' employability while bridging academia and industry. It's about fostering excellence, innovation, and relevance in education.”

    Mr Robin Oldhamis Course Director for Computer Science and Digital Apprenticeships at Staffordshire University.

    With a background in university lecturing, management and as a technology professional, Robin brings to the table his experience in course design, development, validation, delivery and assessment in higher education as well as in building effective relationships across different types of organisation.

    Dr Vito Venezianooversees the provision of all degree apprenticeships within the School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Hertfordshire, and is the Employer Liaison Tutor for the Digital & Technology Solutions BSc degree apprenticeship. Vito has also been a project manager and a business and IT consultant in a wide variety of domains and applications.

    Vito says: “Becoming a Tech Industry Gold accreditation specialist allows me to contribute to the high standards and quality education that TechSkills is known for. Having been a customer of TechSkills for over seven years, I have first-hand experience with the positive impact of TechSkills’ initiatives. This role perfectly fits my passion for ensuring educational quality and integrity.”
