What was the best experience of your degree?

The best experience of my Tech Industry Gold accredited degree was my placement at Xerox in London. It was an amazing opportunity which allowed me to put my degree into practise, encouraged me to strive for personal and professional growth and gave me confidence to tackle even greater challenges! I had the opportunity to work as a project management analyst on an innovative project which delivered an e-commerce solution for Xerox partners. I had the chance to work with an amazing team, which pushed me to achieve more and supported me when needed. I honestly loved every second of my placement.

What was the most challenging experience of your degree?

When I have decided that I wanted to do a placement, it was a challenge to manage the application processes and attending interviews whilst studying full-time at University. It required hard work but looking back, it has provided so many benefits.

What would you say now to yourself before you enrolled on your degree?

If you want to be successful, it requires a lot of hard work. Make the most of every opportunity, dream big and never give up!

What would you say to anyone considering a Tech Industry Gold accredited degree?

If you are interested in business and technology, this degree has a perfect combination between both of them! The content of this degree offers an insight into the tech sector and the ways in which tech can be used to transform organisations. The modules provide flexibility to pursue other areas of computing which allow you to acquire knowledge on topics tailored to your strengths and interests.  Tech Industry Gold accredited degrees can provide many opportunities with employers as I experienced.

What are you planning to do this summer?

My plans include attending my graduation, spending some time with family & friends, and travelling. After that, I will begin working full-time; I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

What are your career plans?

My career plans include taking my Tech Industry Gold accredited degree further and combining it with User Experience and Human Technology Interaction. I seek to build solutions that positively improve the relationship and interaction between people and technology.

Who inspires you?

Personally, inspiration comes from the people who surround me which include my parents, older brother, friends and acquaintances. I always try to apply every positive and inspiring behaviour learnt from them which helps me to achieve my goals.

Anything else to add?

Even small things can be your inspiration if you can see the positive side in everything.
