Higher Education (Degrees & Degree Apprenticeships) >>> TechSkills

The collective work of employers and universities continues, with all Higher Education activities – including degrees, degree apprenticeships and Tech Industry Gold accreditation – being taken forward by TechSkills.

Apprenticeship levels 2, 3 & 4 >>> BCS, NSAR and Instructus Skills

Whilst work on degree apprenticeships continues through TechSkills, the organisations work on apprenticeships levels 2, 3 and 4 has been transferred to three companies:

BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, is supporting employers in their collective work on apprenticeship standards at levels 2, 3 and 4. The contact is [email protected], tel 07814 889692.

NSAR, the National Skills Academy for Rail, is supporting employers on the External Quality Assurance of apprenticeships at levels 2, 3 and 4, to ensure parity of end point assessment across different awarding organisations. Contact is via [email protected], tel 0203 021 0575.

Instructus Skills is responsible for certification for digital apprenticeship frameworks. Contact is via [email protected], tel 01536 738631.

The Tech Partnership’s work in schools – the TechFuture portfolio of TechFuture Classroom, TechFuture Girls, TechFuture Badges and TechFuture Ambassadors – is now with City and Guilds. The Essential Digital Skills Framework defines the digital skills adults need to safely benefit from, participate in and contribute to the digital world. This has been transferred to the Crown, with contact via [email protected].
