Gloucestershire College

Gloucestershire College (GC) was named 2024 Digital Provider of the Year at the AAC National Apprenticeship Awards for its work supporting the IT and cyber ecosystem across Gloucestershire and the South West. It was the first further education college in England to gain provisional National Cyber Security Centre certification for its cyber security degree apprenticeship, and delivers both its Cyber Security and Digital and Technology Solutions Professional degree apprenticeships in partnership with UWE Bristol, achieving Tech Industry Gold accreditation through Tech Partnership Degrees. Teaching happens at ADA — the Advanced Digital Academy — a purpose-built £3m facility in the heart of Cheltenham's cyber community, featuring high-spec computers and an off-grid Attack and Defence room. GC also offers Level 3 apprenticeships in software development, DevOps engineering and software testing, alongside T-Levels and BTECs in games and app development, forensic computing and cyber security.

Through Tech Industry Gold accredited programmes, Gloucestershire College provides learners with industry-relevant knowledge, practical experience, and strong career outcomes.
